The Cleveland Browns were awarded WR Efrem Hill via waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and have waived S Ben Emanuel, the club announced today.
Hill, 6-0 and 188 lbs., spent the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers mainly on the practice squad. Hill spent 11 weeks on the Panthers practice squad last season and spent 14 weeks on the Panthers practice squad in 2005. Hill signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent on Jan. 17, 2007, before being waived on June 25, 2007.
