AM Update: Stallworth, Hadnot back

Zac Jackson, Staff Writer

07.26.2008

The Browns are dressed in full pads for Saturday morning's practice, and Donte' Stallworth is back on the field.

Stallworth missed the first three days of training camp with his new team due to a hamstring issue. He's went through the paces with the other receivers this morning but didn't participate in team drills.

Also back at practice is Rex Hadnot, who missed Friday with an ankle injury. Still out is Jason Wright, who's battling a hamstring issue.

Kellen Winslow is on the field but he's wearing shorts and not participating. Winslow was given a few days off in last year's camp by the coaches as well to keep him fresh for the season ahead.

The Browns had a spirited run drill early in practice. On one play, a double-team block by Nathan Bennett and Darnell Dinkins drove Shaun Smith to the ground. Jerome Harrison then followed a crunching lead block by Charles Ali for a significant gain.

The biggest pass play of the day was a Derek Anderson bomb to Braylon Edwards for a touchdown that drew a standing ovation from the overflow crowd.

Stay tuned throughout the afternoon and evening for more from training camp.
