CHICAGO - The Browns have taken an early 7-3 lead on a 7-yard touchdown pass from Brett Ratliff to Mohamed Massaquoi.

The slant pass capped a 9-play, 72-yard scoring drive that chewed 5:21 off the clock and was highlighted by a 21-yard James Davis run and a 12-yard screen pass to Noah Herron that made it first and goal.

Davis had 5 carries for 37 yards on the drive. Alex Mack, making his third straight start at center, threw a key block on the pass to Herron.

Ratliff was intercepted on the game's first play by Zackary Bowman at the Browns 44. . The Browns then held the Bears to a field goal on what was likely Jay Cutler's only series of the evening.

The Browns started mostly second and third unit players. Hank Fraley started at right guard; he's since been replaced by Kurt Quarterman. Dustin Fry started at left guard and has now replaced Mack at center.
