What is the Browns Backers Worldwide (BBW)?

The Browns Backers Worldwide (BBW) is the official fan club of the Cleveland Browns for our fans 14 and older and exists as a non-profit organization to actively support and positively promote the Cleveland Browns. The BBW is considered to be one of the largest organized Fan Clubs in professional sports!

Is the Browns Backers Worldwide directly affiliated with the Cleveland Browns?

Yes, the BBW is directly affiliated with the Cleveland Browns. Our offices are located at the Berea Traning Facility.

How many Browns Backer clubs are there?

The total number of Clubs and members changes periodically. Currently, there are over 360 clubs in 10 different countries. You can view these statistics on the home page of www.brownsbackers.org.

Are there costs to join BBW?

Being a member of BBW is free and always will be!

What are the benefits of joining the Browns Backers Worldwide?

I am a season ticket holder. Should I join the BBW?

All season ticket holders are automatically enrolled as BBW members. For information about accessing your profile, email your guest service representative or bbwnews@clevelandbrowns.com.

How do I become a Browns Backer?

You can become a Browns Backer by completing an online application. Click here to join. You will then receive an email to activate your membership.

How do I obtain my membership card?

Simply log on to your profile and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says “Click here to view virtual membership card.” Open that link and then print your card.

What if I do not want to join a club in my area?

Although we feel that you can receive much more out of being a Browns Backer by joining a club, it is not required. You can become an individual member of the BBW and still receive great benefits!

How do I start a club?

To be considered as a new BBW Club, you must fill out the online chapter application. This can be found on the Browns Backers homepage under the link "Registration". We require that you fill out all the information asked. A recommended number for your roster is 15 (which includes all names and contact information)

Keep in mind, clubs need to be approximately 10 miles from any existing clubs. You can view current club locations using our Backer Tracker.

How do I contact an already existing club?

Click here to see a list of all active clubs. You can click on the club you desire to find the President's contact information.

What if I move?

No problem! Simply edit your profile on the Browns Backers homepage after you log in. This will automatically update our database so we can stay in contact with you. Don't forget to consider looking up the closest Browns Backer Club nearest you!

What happens if I lose my Browns Backers official card?

Replacing a lost card is easy!  Simply log on to your profile and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says “Click here to view virtual membership card.” Open that link and then print your card.

What if I have been a Browns Backer for so long, I cannot remember if my information is current or active?

If you are unsure of your membership status with the BBW, email bbwnews@clevelandbrowns.com.

What is available for Browns Backers on home game weekends in Cleveland?

You can take part in activities during any regular season home game weekend! On Saturday, the Browns Backers Worldwide hosts the Backer Bashes beginning at 5 p.m. at BrownsTown inside FirstEnergy Stadium, Home of the Cleveland Browns. Admission is free and open to all Backers.  Backers can participate in contests, alumni meet and greets, games, drink specials, raffles and much more!  

Does anything special happen on game day for BBW members?

Be sure to visit the Browns Backers booth located behind Section 136 to receive a free gift!

Do Browns Backers get together in the respective city when the team is on the road?

If you are traveling to the away game city, contact the closest Browns Backers Club to find out what activities may be scheduled. In the past, cities such a San Diego, Houston, Indianapolis, and Phoenix have scheduled entire weekend festivities around a Browns game!
