Why do I have to become a member of the ClevelandBrowns.com online community to sign a child up for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club?
In order to sign up a child for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club, we need to create an account for you so we can store your information and Kids Club Memberships. We need to be able to communicate with individuals that are part of the Kids Club and we cannot email kids under the age of 13. This actually enables us to better serve you if you should have any questions or concerns during the Kids Club sign up process. By becoming a member of the ClevelandBrowns.com online community, you will able to manage your personal profile as well as all of your Kids Club membership profiles simply by logging in at any time at www.ClevelandBrowns.com using your email address and password.
What is the Browns Backers Worldwide and what does it mean to be a Browns Backer?
The Browns Backers Worldwide (BBW) is the largest organized fan club in all of professional sports. There are members and clubs supporting the Browns that span all seven continents, all around the world! The BBW provides fans a way to stay in touch with their favorite team, whether they live in Cleveland or as far away as Taiwan. Why does the Kids Club “Top Dawg” membership cost $19.46 (+ S/H)?
1946 is the year that the Cleveland Browns first took the field.
I can’t remember if I am a member of the ClevelandBrowns.com online community. How can I find out?
If you think that you may have signed up to be a Browns Backer or General User in the past but are not sure, go to www.BrownsKidsClub.com and LOGIN using the email address and password you think may be associated with your account. If you are already signed up, once you click on "Continue", you will automatically be logged OR you will see this message, “Active email already in the system, please login using this email address (your email here). Or click forgot password to receive a new password.” If your email is not recognized as an existing account, you can click on "Create New Account" to begin the Kids Club sign up process.
I thought I was a member of the ClevelandBrowns.com online community, but the log in does not recognize my current email address. How can I check and see if I am listed under an old email address?
If you know the old email address that your account may be listed under, follow the steps listed in question 3 above. If you do not remember the email address, you can email KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com or call 440-234-KIDS and state that you may have had an old account under a different email. Please be sure to include your first and last name and any information that could help find your account (mailing address, phone number, etc.).
I put in my email address on the log in page, but it said my account is pending. What does this mean and how do I continue?
If your account is pending, it means that you never confirmed your account through a verification email that was sent to you when you signed up to be a member of the ClevelandBrowns.com online community. To have the verification email sent to you again so you can confirm your account and make it active, enter in your email address on the log in page at www.BrownsKidsClub.com. You should receive an error that says, “According to our records, your account is currently in a pending status and must be verified before you can login. Please enter your email in the box below and click the “Resend” button, and we will send you a new verification email. When you receive that email, simply click on the link provided.” Follow these instructions to make your account active. If you do not receive the confirmation email or the link does not work, please refer to questions 6 and 7 below.
I did not receive the verification email to confirm my account. What do I do?
If you did not receive the verification email in your inbox, please check your spam folder for an email from fansquad@clevelandbrowns.com. If you still cannot find your verification email, please email KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com or call 440-234-KIDS and be sure to tell us in your message that you don’t have the confirmation email. Please also include your first and last name so we are able to look up your account. (You may want to add clevelandbrowns.com to your safe senders list to make sure you don’t miss any future emails.)
I received the verification email but the link doesn’t work and I can’t confirm my account. What do I do?
If you click on the confirmation link in the verification email and it takes you to an error message, please copy the link and paste it into your browser. If that still does not work, please email KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com or call 440-234-KIDS and be sure to tell us in your message that your confirmation link is not working. Please also include your first and last name so we are able to look up your account.
I confirmed my account but was not taken back to the Cleveland Browns Kids Club sign up page. How do I continue the sign up process?
If your account has been confirmed, or you are already a member of the ClevelandBrowns.com online community, you can login at www.BrownsKidsClub.com using your email address and password to continue the sign up process for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club. I forgot my password, but the password that has been resent to me is not working or I did not receive it. What do I do?
If you don’t know your password and you have already clicked on “forgot password” on the log in page but either are not receiving it or it does not work, please contact us at KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com or call us at 440-234-KIDS. Please be sure to let us know that you need a new password and leave your first and last name along with your email address so we can find your account.
When I enter the promotional code, where will I see the discount to my order?
Enter in any promotional code along with t-shirt sizes and billing information (for “Top Dawg” memberships) on the check out page, then click on "Confirm Order" at the bottom of the page. You should see your discount on the check out summary. If you do not receive your discount, contact us at 440-234-KIDS or email us at KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com.
Is it possible to send in a check or money order for payment?
The only payment accepted for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club is a MasterCard or Visa credit or debit card number.
What if I have a problem with my order (charged too many times, damaged merchandise, etc.)? Who should I contact?
If you have any issues while signing kids up for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club or if your merchandise is delivered damaged, you can email us at KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com or call us at 440-234-KIDS. Please specify what problem you have and include your first and last name, along with any confirmation numbers so we can best handle your complaint. Our policy does not guarantee any refunds, but this may be handled on a case-by-case basis.
I am unable to print out the virtual Kids Club membership card. What do I do?
The virtual Kids Club membership card is only temporary. You will receive an official Kids Club membership card in the mail.
When will the membership card and/or “Top Dawg” package be delivered?
Please allow 4-6 weeks for all membership cards and “Top Dawg” packages to be delivered.
How can I get a new Kids Club membership card if it is lost? Does it cost anything?
Replacement membership cards for both “Top Dawg” and Basic memberships are $5.00. You can request a new card by calling 440-234-KIDS of through email at KidsClub@ClevelandBrowns.com.
I have finished signing up for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club, how do I access my Kids Club accounts?
You can access all of your Kids Club accounts by logging in at www.ClevelandBrowns.com or by clicking here, using your email address and password and clicking on "Kids Club Memberships" within the "Logged In" box.
How is a Kids Club member able to participate in the sweepstakes?
In order to participate in any Kids Club sweepstakes, the kid (s) must be a “Top Dawg” member. (Not a “Top Dawg” member? You can upgrade at any time. Please see question below.) If you already have a “Top Dawg” membership, please look for emails that will be sent to the primary account holder. These emails will have details explaining each sweepstakes and how you can participate.
How and when can I renew my Kids Club membership for the following season?
Beginning Oct. 1, you can renew your Kids Club membership (Basic or “Top Dawg”) for the following season by logging into your account at www.ClevelandBrowns.com and clicking on Kids Club Memberships. You will then see a list of all of your Kids Club memberships and a header that says RENEW NOW (Oct. 1 – Dec. 31). Select the corresponding button(s) and click submit at the bottom of the page. If I renew a “TOP DAWG” membership during the current season for the following season, when will we receive the new package?
Your renewed Kids Club membership package will be sent out in April of the renewal year. Ex: If you renew a Kids Club membership for the 2009 season on Oct. 1, 2008, you will receive the 2009 package in April of 2009. You cannot renew a Kids Club membership for the following year if the child will turn 14 before April 1 of that following year.
My Kids Club membership is BASIC. How can I upgrade to a “TOP DAWG” membership?
You can upgrade your BASIC membership to a “TOP DAWG” membership at any time by logging in at www.ClevelandBrowns.com using your email address and password to access your Kids Club Memberships profile. Once logged in, click on Kids Club Memberships on the right hand side. You will then see a list of all of your Kids Club memberships and a header that says UPGRADE – PAID ($19.46). Select the corresponding button(s) and click submit at the bottom of the page. You will then be taken to the check out form. Can I downgrade a “TOP DAWG” membership for the current season to a BASIC membership for the following season?
If you wish to downgrade any “TOP DAWG” membership to a BASIC membership for the following season, you can do so beginning on Oct. 1 by logging in at www.ClevelandBrowns.com using your email address and password. Once logged in, click on Kids Club Memberships on the right hand side. You will then see a list of all of your Kids Club memberships and a header that says DOWNGRADE – FREE. I have already completely signed up one child, but want to go back and sign up another child for the Cleveland Browns Kids Club. How can I do that?
You can add another child to your Kids Club memberships after completing a different transaction by logging in at www.BrownsKidsClub.com using your email and password. Your personal profile will pop up and you have the ability to edit any fields. If everything is correct, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Add A Child”. If I sign a child up for a “TOP DAWG” membership days before he/she turns 14, will they still get their package?
If you sign up a child for a “Top Dawg” membership shortly before that child turns 14, they will still receive a package but their Kids Club membership will end on their 14th birthday. They will not be eligible for any sweepstakes or experiences that take place after their 14th birthday. Don’t worry! They can still be a part of the Cleveland Browns when they turn 14 by becoming a member of Browns Backers Worldwide, the fan club for adults. How does a child in the Kids Club become a Browns Backer when they turn 14? Do they have to fill out an individual application?
A child that is a member of the Cleveland Browns Kids Club does not have to fill out an individual application to become a Browns Backer on their 14th birthday. You can help them become a Browns Backer by logging into your account at www.ClevelandBrowns.com using your email and password. Once logged in, click on "Kids Club Memberships". As far out as 90 days from the child’s 14th birthday, you will be able to click on "edit" underneath that child’s name and add an email address for the child in their profile. Once you add the email address, you must click on save at the bottom of the page. Your child will continue to receive the benefits of being a Kids Club member until their 14th birthday, at which time we will send a verification email to the child’s email address that you provided. Once the child opens the email and clicks on the confirmation link, they will become an active Browns Backer and will receive all the benefits of being part of Browns Backers Worldwide.
