Browns Backers Worldwide are happy to announce that there are now clubs in all 50 states! The Green Mountain Browns Backers were founded on July 11 in Burlington, Vermont, by President Andrew McConnell.
"There are many registered fans in Vermont, and we are excited to have a club where they can unite and cheer for the team, “ said Michele DeScioli, manager of Browns Backers Worldwide.
McConnell, originally from Uhrichsville, Ohio, was raised a Browns fan and grew up during the Kardiac Kids and Kosar years. “I went to college at Baldwin-Wallace and spent my early career working in Cleveland before moving to Vermont. I’m really looking forward to the camaraderie this season.”
In addition to teaming up with other Browns fans in the area, McConnell says, “I have lofty aspirations for the philanthropic side of the club. I look forward to working together to help make a difference.”
