BALTIMORE -- Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Travis Benjamin will start his second career game tonight against the Baltimore Ravens from M&T Bank Stadium.

Benjamin, who started in the team’s 34-27 loss at Cincinnati two weeks ago, will be in the starting lineup in place of the injured Mohamed Massaquoi. Massaquoi injured his hamstring in the team’s 24-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium and was one of three Cleveland players listed as “out” on Wednesday’s injury report.

On the season, Benjamin has three catches for 56 yards -- including a 22-yard touchdown -- and three rushing attempts for 50 yards.

Veteran tight end Alex Smith (head) and rookie linebacker James-Michael Johnson (ribs/oblique) were also ruled out on Wednesday.

In addition to Massaquoi, Smith and Johnson, the Browns have deactivated quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, defensive back Eric Hagg, running back Brandon Jackson and offensive lineman Ryan Miller for the game.

The Ravens deactivated wide receiver LaQuan Williams, cornerback/return specialist Asa Jackson, tackle Jah Reid, tight end Billy Bajema, defensive end DeAngelo Tyson, outside linebacker Sergio Kindle and defensive tackle Bryan Hall.
