Jay Gruden and Mike Zimmer were deservedly hired as head coaches by the Redskins and Vikings respectively. Biggest storyline part II: The conundrum of Andy Dalton. The quarterback has increased his touchdowns in each of his three seasons in the NFL – up to 33 last year. But his interception numbers have trended upwards each year too, boiling at 20 last year. Against the Browns in 2013, Dalton threw three picks and his quarterback rating was 60.0. Add in the fact that his playoff record is 0-3, and some around the league are wondering if Dalton is the long term solution.
