He leads the team this season with 45 receptions, 515 receiving yards and six touchdowns, all three figures represent career bests. Cameron joins Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome as the only Browns tight ends with six-or-more touchdowns in a season. Newsome had six in 1981 and 1983, and nine in 1979. Cameron is also the first Browns player with at least six receiving scores in a season since WR Braylon Edwards set a team record with 16 in 2007. Cameron’s 45 receptions are tied for the most by a Browns player in the first seven games of a season. Newsome had 45 in the 1984.
