The Cleveland Browns today signed defensive lineman Kendrick Adams to the practice squad.
Originally signed by Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2012, Adams he has spent time on the practice squads of Tampa Bay (three weeks) and Detroit (seven weeks). He was released from the Lions’ practice squad on December 11. Adams was a two-year starter at LSU (2010-11) after transferring from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He totaled 6.5 sacks during his two years with the Tigers.
Born November 3, 1988, the 6-5, 250-pound Adams is a native of Enterprise, Ala., where he attended Enterprise High School.
