The 6-2, 206-pound Desir (pronounced duh-ZEER) was selected in the fourth round (127th overall). He played two years at Washburn before playing two seasons at Lindenwood. In 44 games, he registered 172 tackles, 27 passes defensed, 25 interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and three sacks.
In 2013, he was named the inaugural winner of the Cliff Harris Award, honoring the nation’s top small-college defensive player.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Desir and his family immigrated to the United States when he was 4 years old. He graduated from Francis Howell Central High School in St. Peter’s, Mo.
