The Browns made a series of practice squad moves, the team announced Wednesday morning.

The Cleveland Browns today signed wide receiver Rod Windsor to the practice squad, the team announced. To make room for Windsor, the club released linebacker Benjamin Jacobs from the practice squad. In addition, the team waived defensive lineman Marcus Benard from Injured Reserve.

Windsor spent 15 weeks on the Browns’ practice squad last season before being inactive for the final two games. He spent training camp with the club this year before being waived on final cut downs on August 31. He caught five passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in the preseason with the Browns.
