The Cleveland Browns announced several roster moves on Monday evening.

The Cleveland Browns today signed quarterback Thaddeus Lewis to the active roster from the club’s practice squad. In addition, the team placed wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi on injured reserve.

Massaquoi started five of the nine games in which he appeared this season and totaled 17 receptions for 245 yards.

Originally signed by St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent on April 26, 2010, Lewis was acquired by the Browns via waivers on September 4, 2011. He was inactive for 13 games with the Browns in 2011 and dressed but did not play in three other contests. Lewis was inactive for the first five games of the regular season this year before spending the past 11 weeks on the practice squad.
