The Cleveland Browns made a series of roster moves, the team announced Monday evening.

The Cleveland Browns today signed offensive lineman Jarrod Shaw to the active roster and placed offensive lineman Jason Pinkston on injured reserve, the team announced. In addition, the club signed offensive lineman Bryant Browning to the practice squad.

Shaw spent the first seven weeks of the 2012 season on the team’s practice squad.

Pinkston started the first six contests of this season at left guard before being inactive for last week’s game.

Originally signed by St. Louis as an undrafted free agent on July 29, 2011, Browning was waived by the Rams on August 6, 2011. He was signed to the Carolina Panthers practice squad on September 6, 2011 where he spent the first 11 weeks of the season before being signed to the active roster. He saw action in one contest and was inactive for another before being placed on injured reserve with a wrist injury on December 17. He spent the first six weeks of the 2012 season on the Panthers’ practice squad before having his contract terminated on October 16. A four-year letterman at Ohio State (2007-10), Browning appeared in 52 games with 40 starts. Born on June 26, 1988, the 6-4, 325-pound Browning is a native of Cleveland who attended Glenville High School.
