Comment: The Browns would address another critical need here. They don’t have another dependable cornerback besides Joe Haden, and Roby would give them a complement to one of the game’s top players at the position.

CB Kyle Fuller
Virginia Tech

Comment: In Fuller the Browns get a bigger corner who can lock down the field opposite Joe Haden. He is a natural athlete, with good speed, ball skills and natural coverage instincts. He will also be a big help in run support and is the final piece of the puzzle for the Browns secondary.

Rest of the Browns' Picks

QB Derek Carr
Fresno State

Carr is as mature and developed as any quarterback in the draft. He doesn’t have ideal size or strength, but he has enough of a skill base that can be developed in the next couple of years. Still, I wouldn’t rule him out as a viable challenger for the starting job this season.

QB Jimmy Garrappolo
Eastern Illinois

Browns get a smart quarterback with the quickest release in the draft. Garrappolo has been a late riser and is someone who can make all the throws and has adequate arm strength to go with solid size at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds. Has a very high football IQ and is very adept at reading defenses and getting the ball out quickly. Has excellent pocket awareness and is good at improvising a la fellow Eastern Illinois alum Tony Romo.

RB Charles Simms
West Virginia
OG Brandon Thomas (Clemson).
Hope that G Gabe Jackson (Mississippi State) falls.
