BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns will host their annual Family Night practice at FirstEnergy Stadium this Saturday night, but it will look different than in years past.
In an effort to improve the fan experience, the Browns will open up Alfred Lerner Way at 4:30 p.m., for family-friendly activities. Games, music and inflatables will be there for the fans to enjoy, as will The Radio Disney Road Crew, and the Duncan Yo-Yo Professionals, who will put on a special performance for the fans.
The gates at FirstEnergy Stadium open up for this free, non-ticketed event at 5:30 p.m., and practice follows at 6:30. Following practice, there will be a full-team autograph session, as well as a Laser and Firework Show at 9:30.
“We’re hoping that a lot of things look different this year,” said Browns president Alec Scheiner. “Family Night will be a lot of fun. We’re going to have a lot of family activities, fun zones for kids.
“It’s really nice to be able to give people access to the organization, no matter what. We have training camp, and training camp’s free. On Family Night, anyone can come in. If you love Browns football, there’s various ways to get exposure to it.”
Scheiner promises the Laser and Firework show will be different than any the Browns have previously done.
“Probably the thing that’s most important is after the autograph session,” Scheiner said. “We’ve never done that level of pyrotechnics and lasers that we’ll have, so it should be pretty cool for the fans. We haven’t done this level of show before, especially the laser part of the show, and we think it’ll be pretty interesting.”
If you are a Cleveland Browns PNC Bank Debit Card holder, you can gain early access to Family Night by showing your card at the Southwest Gate of FirstEnergy Stadium. Each Cleveland Browns PNC Bank Debit Card will allow five (5) people in as early as 4:30pm.
