GREEN BAY, Wisc. -- After missing the last three games due to a knee injury suffered in a 31-27 win at the Minnesota Vikings four weeks ago, Cleveland Browns outside linebacker Jabaal Sheard is active for today’s game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

While he missed the first two weeks of practice following the injury, Sheard was back on the practice field ahead of last week’s game against the Detroit Lions. He was a late scratch for the Lions game.

In three games this season, Sheard has registered 15 total tackles, including 10 solo stops and five assists, 1.5 sacks for 7.5 lost yards and has both forced and recovered a fumble.

The Packers have deactivated cornerback Casey Hayward, running back James Starks, linebackers Clay Matthews, Brad Jones and Nick Perry, tight end Ryan Taylor and wide receiver James Jones for the game.

Jarrett Boykin will start in place of Jones, while Mike Neal will start at left outside linebacker for Perry. Andy Mulumba will start for Matthews at right outside linebacker, and Jamari Lattimore will go for Jones at middle linebacker.
