FEATURED TICKET HOLDER
The Cleveland Browns would like to recognize Dr. Michael Greenberg as our Season Ticket Holder of the game. Dr. Greenberg’s connection to the Browns goes back to 1946 when his family first became Season Ticket Holders. Through the years, they’ve created many lasting memories. “My first game was in the early 1950s against the Los Angeles Rams. It was a beautiful, sunny day and of course the Browns won. That was the start of my passion. The Browns held training camp at Hiram College in the 1950s and early 1960s. As a young boy, through family connections, I was lucky enough to be invited into the Locker Room and dorm several times a week and was befriended by the likes of Bob Gain, Lou Groza and Ray Renfro. I remember meeting Jim Brown in the Locker Room and was awed by his physical appearance. I was at the Stadium for the 1964 Championship Game that we won 27-0. No one gave the Browns a chance, but we did it. My most vivid memory was of the 1987 playoff game against the New York Jets. We were down 20-10 with four minutes left, managed to tie the game and after two overtimes won 23-20. With over 60 years of connections to the Browns, these memories stand out above all else. I hope I get to see one more Championship for my team and our city.
