Senior Director, Pro Personnel

Steve Sabo was appointed as Director, Pro Personnel last season and is currently in his tenth season with the Browns. Sabo is responsible for scouting NFL teams, and assists with advance scouting of upcoming opponents. He also plays a role with the acquisition of unrestricted free agents throughout the year and preparation for the NFL Draft.

Sabo joined the Browns in 1998 after working with the New Orleans Saints from 1994-98. He worked as an administrative assistant with the Saints from 1994-96 and as a pro scout from 1996-98. Prior to joining the Saints, Sabo worked as a research assistant with NFL Films in 1993-94.

Sabo, 37, was born in Willingboro, N.J., and graduated from Kutztown University in 1993. He is married to the former Ursula Anderson of Knoxville, Tenn. They have a daughter, Anderson, and reside in Medina, Ohio.
