Offensive Guard
Select another honoree:
DeLamielleure spent his first seven seasons (1973-79) in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills before being acquired by the Browns in a 1980 trade. During his tenure in Buffalo he was selected to the Pro Bowl five straight times (1975-79). In 1973 he paved the way for Bills running back O.J. Simpson to earn NFL Most Valuable Player honors and was selected All-NFL. He was also named the 1975 AFC Lineman of the Year. He made an immediate impact upon joining the Browns in 1980 and earned All-NFL honors while making the Pro Bowl for the sixth consecutive season. He was the cornerstone of a solid offensive line and will be remembered for his days as a member of the Browns' famed "Kardiac Kids." DeLamielleure was also named to the NFL Team of the Decade for the 1970s.
