Cleveland Browns Legends

The Cleveland Browns Legends program was started in 2001 to honor the team's all-time great players. Browns enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame are automatically inducted, while four new former Browns are inducted each year - one each from the four eras since the team was born - 1940s/50s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s/90s.

Players are nominated by a panel consisting of journalists and Browns historians. Those nominees are then voted on by the panel and then separately by Browns fans in an online vote, which accounts for 20 percent of the tally.
