Biography

Career Transactions: Originally drafted by Cleveland in the second round (37th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

College: Started all 51 career games at the University of California (2008-11)… Opened 35 contests at left tackle and 16 at right tackle… Earned All-Pac 12 Conference and Academic All-Conference honors all four seasons… As a senior, opened all 13 games at left tackle, while helping Cal average 28.3 points and 401.5 yards per game… Started all 12 games at left tackle as a junior… Opened all 13 games at right tackle as a sophomore… As a redshirt freshman, started the first three games at right tackle before opening on the left side for the final 10 contests… Earned a degree in American Studies.

Personal: Native of Pacific Palisades, Fla., where he attended Palisades Charter High School… Team captain who was a two-way tackle… Brother, Geoff, was a seventh-round pick by Carolina Panthers in 2008 and currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings.
