Career Transactions: Originally drafted by Cleveland in the first round (3rd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft with a choice acquired from Minnesota for the Browns’ first (fourth), fourth (118th), fifth (139th) and seventh (221th) round picks in 2012.

College: Started 15 of 38 career games at the University of Alabama (2009-11)… Totaled 3,130 career rushing yards on 540 attempts (5.8 avg.) with 35 rushing touchdowns and added 68 receptions for 730 yards and seven scores… Also returned 28 kickoffs for 720 yards (25.7 avg.) with one touchdown… Despite playing just three seasons, ranks among the Crimson Tide career leaders in rushing yards per attempt (second), 100-yard rushing performances (second), rushing touchdowns (third) and rushing yards (fifth)… Helped the school capture the National Championship in 2009 and 2011… As a junior in 2011, set Alabama single-season records for rushing yards (1,679), rushing touchdowns (21) and all-purpose yards (2,083), while tying a school-best with 144 points and 24 total touchdowns… Winner of the Doak Walker award for the nation’s top running back and was a Heisman Trophy finalist… Named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Year and unanimous first team All-SEC honors… Also ranked third on the team with 29 receptions for 338 yards and three touchdowns… As a sophomore, totaled 112 rushing attempts for 700 yards with six touchdowns and 23 receptions for 266 yards with four scores… As a freshman, recorded 751 rushing yards on 145 attempts with eight touchdowns and 16 receptions for 126 yards… Majored in general studies.
