Johnathon Stigall is in his second season with the Browns following a four-year stint as the Midwest scout with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Prior to joining Philadelphia in 2006, Stigall spent the 2000-05 seasons in a similar role with the Miami Dolphins. He got his start in the NFL as an intern in the player personnel department of the Chicago Bears in 1999. A four-year letterman as a running back at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana (1995-98), Stigall earned his degree in sports science with a minor in education. He is the school’s fourth all-time leading rusher with 2,415 yards on 532 carries. He also is tied for second all-time with 41 touchdowns.
A native of Oxford, Ohio, Stigall resides in Peoria, Ill., with his wife, Melissa, and two daughters.
