Ohio Governor's Imagination Library
In partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library's mission is to put more books in the hands of Ohio children to ensure every student enters kindergarten ready to succeed. Caregivers can enroll kids from birth to age five to receive a new book each month by registering through ohioimaginationlibrary.org.
Nasa at Home
NASA's new Internet and social media special, NASA at Home, shows and engages learners in the agency's discoveries, research and exploration from around the world and across the universe – all from the comfort of your own home. The program offers something for the whole family and brings together a repository of binge-worthy videos and podcasts, engaging E-books on a variety of topics, do-it-yourself projects, and virtual and augmented reality tours, which include the agency's Hubble Space Telescope and International Space Station, and puts you inside research facilities at NASA's Glenn Research Center here in Cleveland.
Scholastic Learn at Home provides 20 days' worth of active learning journeys designed to reinforce and sustain educational opportunities for those students who are unable to attend school.
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. The site tackles math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics and more. To assist with recent school closures, Khan Academy released daily schedules for students in grades pre-K-12 to follow from home.
Prodigy Math is a free online math platform used by more than 50 million students, teachers and administrators, which reinforces math skills through video game-style play.
Discovery Education has created a special channel within Discovery Education Experience – the Viruses and Outbreak Channel – featuring digital content that helps educators discuss the Coronavirus outbreak with students. This content includes timely updates on what the Coronavirus is, information on how infectious diseases spread, and essential guidelines for staying healthy.
