The Cleveland Browns are committed to assisting the development, safety and growth of youth and high school football throughout Northeast Ohio with year-round programming for players, coaches, officials and parents. Through camps, clinics and other initiatives, the Browns' goal is to promote healthy social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of youth by enhancing opportunities for youth football participation and education.

Heads Up Football Certification

Heads Up Football Certification

Heads Up Football is a program designed to protect the health and safety of student-athletes. Scholastic coach certification is made up of four courses and teaches concussion recognition & response, heat preparedness & hydration, sudden cardiac arrest, proper equipment fitting, shoulder tackling and blocking.

Heads Up certifications open at the USA Football National Conference in February 2019. University Hospitals will pay for the first 1,500 individuals to be certified. Please follow the instructions at the link below to register.

Giving Back – Field Projects

In 2016, the Haslams announced a commitment to provide five Cleveland Metropolitan School District fields with high-quality synthetic turf during a two-year project in support of scholar-athletes and the local neighborhoods. The Browns' commitment continues as new fields are being installed this year.
