Puppy Pound

Join the Cleveland Browns and Sugardale for the 5th anniversary of the Cleveland Browns Puppy Pound. We're once again calling on Browns fans to help find forever homes for the puppies at the Northeast Ohio SPCA.

Update

Thanks to the tremendous community support, only a very limited number of puppies are still available for adoption, but we still have dogs! We consider all dogs to be puppies at heart that need furrever homes so we hope you continue to support the Puppy Pound Program and adopt an older puppy!

2020 Cleveland Browns Puppy Pound Adopted by Sugardale

Every day starting August 14th until the end of training camp!
Open sign-ups are announced on the Browns' official Twitter every morning of training camp at 9 a.m. (click here to view full training camp schedule).

With each adoption, Sugardale will provide new owners with a puppy starter kit (while supplies last), as well as a station for families to take their first family photo with their new puppy.

HOW TO ADOPT:
Select an available slot to interact with and adopt a puppy at the Northeast Ohio SPCA. Fans will be able to sign up for an appointment each day of Training Camp beginning at 9 a.m. Fans should note there are limited slots available between the hours of 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day.

To sign up, please review the available time slots and select an option. With each sign-up, there will be a non-refundable appointment reservation fee. Appointment reservation fees are not applied to the adoption fee ($100). All appointment reservations fees will be considered as a donation and will directly benefit the Northeast Ohio SPCA.

For families, only one member will need to sign up for the appointment reservation. Adoptions will be limited to one per family. If multiple family members wish to adopt, they will need to sign up individually for an appointment as well.

Once fans have successfully signed up for a slot, they will receive a confirmation email with directions for arrival and adoption. Please be aware that signing up online DOES NOT complete the adoption process. All adoptions will take place on-site at the Northeast Ohio SPCA shelter located in Parma.

APPOINTMENTS:
Please be aware that due to health and safety concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic, walk-up adoptions are not available at this time. Fans must sign up via the appointment reservation link shared above. For interest in other animal adoptions outside of the Cleveland Browns Puppy Pound, please contact the SPCA directly to coordinate an appointment.

While the appointments guarantee interaction with the puppies in the Puppy Pound, all adoptions will take place on a first-come, first-served basis.

ARRIVAL & ADOPTION:
Upon successfully signing up, fans will receive a confirmation email from the SPCA. This email will contain directions to the Northeast Ohio SPCA shelter as well as arrival details. Fans will need to show this confirmation email to enter the adoption space.

The Northeast SPCA is located at 9555 Brookpark Road, Parma, OH 44129. Fans will be instructed to park in the adjacent Knollwood Plaza parking lot.

Upon arrival to the SPCA, we ask fans to adhere to the following:
• Please do not arrive early for your specified time slot.
• As mandated in the state of Ohio, please wear a mask at all times when on the SPCA premises.
• Please do not enter the SPCA shelter or clinic. All adoptions will take place outside of the shelter with clearly marked directions and instructions.

• Please follow directional signage and maintain a safe distance of 6 feet from others during the experience.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the space.
