_In this week's Cleveland Browns High School Game of the Week presented by Ohio Cat in association with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) will feature Black River Pirates and Clearview Clippers on Friday, Oct. 25th. Tonight's game will be the Cancer Awareness Game in which the Clippers will support the American Cancer Society's Crucial Catch Campaign.  _

In this week's matchup, the Clearview Clippers will host the Black River Pirates for a Lorain County battle. The Pirates are coming off a big conference win against Brookside last week with a 53-0 shutout. If the Pirates are able to get a win against the Clippers, that will make them 5-1 in conference play and 6-3 on the season. The Pirates' leader in rushing yards is Senior running back Caleb Simonson, who is averaging 77 yards per game and averaging seven points per game.

The Clippers have scored nearly 350 points so far this season. In the last seven games, they have put up nearly 300 points. Five out the six games had more than 40 points scored; one game with a total of 65 points scored. Senior quarterback and offensive leader, Chase Christensen has 214 total yards per game with 194 yards being passing yards.

Good luck to both teams and stay tuned for a post-game report.

About Crucial Catch

The Crucial Catch program focuses on early detection, education, and access to screenings that can detect cancer early, when it's more treatable. NFL clubs help intercept cancer in their hometowns by supporting Crucial Catch in ways that meet the needs of their communities. Many clubs extend the reach of the NFL's national program through local grassroots efforts including youth teams and clubs focused on promoting cancer screenings, honoring cancer survivors, and planning special in-stadium or pre-game events in partnership with the Society.

The partnership supports the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives from cancer by funding grants to help people in underserved communities receive potentially lifesaving screening resources. For additional information visit cancer.org/youthcrucialcatch
