One year after skipping the first round entirely, the Browns hold the 10th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Browns finished the 2019 season with a loss Sunday at Cincinnati, dropping their record to 6-10. They finished in a tie for ninth with the Jaguars, who will pick one spot ahead of the Browns because their opponents combined for 12 fewer wins than Cleveland's.
Cleveland, of course, traded away its 2019 first-round selection in a deal that netted WR Odell Beckham Jr. and DE Olivier Vernon. The Browns haven't made a first-round selection since they turned in the card for Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward with the fourth pick in the 2018 draft.
The Browns hold their own picks in Rounds 1-4 and also carry an extra third-rounder from Houston, which was acquired in a preseason trade for RB Duke Johnson. Cleveland has seven picks total, including a sixth-round pick acquired from the Cardinals (DB Jamar Taylor trade) and a seventh-rounder from Green Bay (OL Justin McCray trade).
