Hue Jackson 'disappointed' in WR Antonio Callaway citation, still fact-finding incident

Browns coach Hue Jackson expressed his disappointment Tuesday in rookie wide receiver Antonio Callaway, who was cited for marijuana possession and a suspended driver's license early Sunday morning by Strongsville Police, while pledging to look more into the incident.

"I am just now finding out about it," Jackson said after Tuesday's practice. "You guys know me pretty well, we will have a very strong conversation about it. Let me find out all of the facts – everything that went into it – and then go from there."

Callaway fully participated in Tuesday's practice with the first-team offense. Jackson said it was too early to determine if he'd be available for Thursday's preseason opener against the Giants.

Callaway, a fourth-round pick, came to the Browns after a handful of off-field incidents during his time at Florida.

"We have kind of laid out what our expectations are," Jackson said. "We said what we do and what we do not do. My job is to make sure that I look into these things, understand them all. The person has to deal with the consequences that comes with it. We do not take things lightly. At the same time, until I know everything about it, I do not want to make a strong comment one way or the other."
