Every elite pass rusher has a special trait that separates them from the rest of the best.
For Denver's Von Miller, it's his quickness.
"He's got the quickness of a slot receiver," former Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas said. "When you see him going and putting his outside foot in the ground and cutting to the inside or hitting offensive tackles with his spin move. He's just as quick as any player on that football field. That's what makes it tough for an offensive tackle."
Miller is the focus of the fourth episode of "Joe Thomas' Film Room," a weekly examination of some of the NFL's best pass rushers of the past and present.
Through eight seasons, Miller has 98 sacks, including 14.5 this past year. In any season in which he's played at least 10 games, Miller has finished with double-digit sacks. He had 2.5 in his three games against the Browns.
Give it a watch or listen. Episode 5 will air next Tuesday.
