Kareem Hunt cleared to practice with Browns

Kareem Hunt's debut with the Browns has officially moved one step closer.

The running back has been permitted by the NFL to rejoin the team and begin practicing with them Monday. Hunt will be allowed to return to game action in Week 10, when the Browns host the Buffalo Bills.

Hunt has spent the first half of the season recovering from sports hernia surgery, which he underwent near the end of the preseason, while also serving an eight-game suspension imposed on him by the NFL due to his off-field incidents committed while he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hunt is in his third season in the NFL. He spent his first two in Kansas City, where he rushed 453 times for 2,151 yards and 15 touchdowns and caught 79 passes for 833 yards and 10 touchdowns.
