· In his seventh season with the Browns and 16th in the NFL.
· Prior to Cleveland, spent two seasons (2014-15) as the head strength and conditioning coach for the Minnesota Vikings.
· Oversaw strength and conditioning at the University of Virginia as the director of football training and player development from 2011-13. Also spent time at Virginia as the team's head strength and conditioning coach from 2003-06.
· Prior to his second stint at Virginia, served as head strength and conditioning coach with the Miami Dolphins from 2008-10. He served in the same capacity with the Atlanta Falcons in 2007.
· Started NFL career with the New Orleans Saints as an assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2000-02.
· Before his time in the NFL, Marcus worked his way through the college ranks beginning at Arizona State from 1991-92. From there, he spent time at Rutgers (1993), Maryland (1994), Texas (1995-97) and Louisville (1998-99).
· Played football at Ithaca College, where he was a three-time letterman as an offensive lineman and started in the 1988 NCAA Division III National Championship.
· Graduated from Ithaca with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and earned a master's degree while coaching at Arizona State.
