Pregame Notes:

Stow-Munroe Falls travels to Mentor for the first round of the Ohio High School Football Playoffs.

Mentor, led by Steve Trivisonno, are entering the Division 1 playoffs as the number 3 seed and finished the regular season with a 9-1 record. The only loss that the Mentor Cardinals had this year came from a nonconference game in week 2 against St. Ignatius. The Cardinals are hoping that their high power offense led by third year starting quarterback Tadas Tatarunas can help them move on to the semifinals.

Stow-Munroe Falls, led by head coach Mark Nori, are also coming off an impressive 9-1 regular season. Stows only loss this year came from a tough week 5 conference game where they fell to Wadsworth on the road. The Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs are entering the Division 1 playoffs as the 6 seed and hoping that their Senior quarterback, Coryon Rice, can help pave the way to the semis.

Both teams are led by experienced quarterbacks and have high power offenses, which could result in a high scoring game tomorrow night.

Good luck to both teams and stay tuned for a post-game report.
