What are digital tickets?
Digital tickets are tickets without barcodes. They are not necessarily electronic.
Are digital tickets and mobile tickets the same?
No. Your mobile smartphone is only one way to deliver or access a digital ticket. Digital tickets can be delivered in several forms:
- Mobile smartphone
- Any RFID encoded item (card, watch, etc.)
- Special ticket stock encoded with radio frequency identification (RFID) technology
Will all events at FirstEnergy Stadium be using digital tickets?
While we are not entirely eliminating barcodes for 2018, we are implementing a phased approach starting with the 2018 NFL season. Other concerts and events will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If I purchase Browns tickets for the 2018 season, what is changing for me?
If you are a Browns Season Ticket Member (prior to May 15, 2018), you will receive commemorative paper season tickets for the 2018 season. You will also be able to manage your tickets through the Browns mobile app and online through Account Manager. PDF tickets will no longer be available via Ticket Transfer, Ticket Exchange or Print-at-Home functions.
Flex Plan and Group ticket buyers can manage and access their tickets on their smartphone or request paper tickets at time of purchase.
Single game buyers purchasing online via Ticketmaster.com will have the option to choose tickets on their smartphone, or choose paper tickets at Will Call or via mail delivery.
How can I request paper tickets?
- Browns Season Ticket Members will receive commemorative paper tickets for 2018 and digital tickets for the 2019 season (RFID encoded tickets, or mobile smartphone).
- Flex Plan, Group and Single Game buyers should select mail or will call as the delivery method during your online ticket purchase, in order to receive paper tickets.
What does a ticket on a smartphone look like?
For 2018, tickets viewed on smartphones will have a square QR code along with all the regular ticket information – game date and time, section, row, seat.
What if I don't have a smartphone?
If purchasing tickets on Ticketmaster.com, you can select mail or will call delivery to receive a paper ticket.
If you received a ticket transfer from friends or family, you can accept the transfer on your computer. After accepting the transfer, you will receive an email confirmation. You can call ahead (440-891-5050), verify your transfer information and arrange will call pick-up on game day, or you can bring the email confirmation to FirstEnergy Stadium Box Office to have your tickets printed.
How do I manage or access my tickets?
If you are using the Browns Mobile App on your smartphone, you can access your Account Manager or Ticketmaster.com Account under the "Manage Tickets" menu option.
If you are using a web browser on your smartphone, click this link to access your Account Manager.

You can also manage your tickets on your computer by accessing Account Manager. Click this link to access Account Manager.
**If you purchased tickets on Ticketmaster.com and you are using a computer, you must log into your Ticketmaster Account to manage your tickets. It is not the same portal as the Browns Account Manager. Click this link to access your Ticketmaster.com Account.
What does "manage my tickets" mean?
Once logged into Account Manager or the Browns Mobile App, you can:
- Access and view your tickets on your smartphone for entry through the Browns Mobile App
- Transfer tickets to friends or family
- Donate tickets to charity
- Post tickets for resale directly on Ticketmaster's Ticket Exchange, as in prior seasons
- Add your tickets to Apple Wallet (recommended for faster entry)
What if I forgot my password?
Click "Forgot Password?" then enter the email address associated with your account and check your email to reset your password.
When I transfer tickets via Account Manager or through the Browns Mobile App, how does the recipient access the tickets?
Once you transfer tickets, the recipient will receive an email from the Browns. The recipient can accept the transfer via their computer or smartphone.
NOTE: Tickets transferred through Account Manager can be managed on a computer, but you will need to view tickets on your smartphone to gain access into FirstEnergy Stadium.
Can I enter FirstEnergy Stadium with multiple tickets for multiple people using one smartphone?
Yes, as long as everyone is present and enters the Stadium at the same time. The ticket holder (smartphone holder) can access multiple tickets on their phone and swipe to scan as their friends or family enter after each ticket scan. However, we recommend that you transfer tickets to each person attending the game for easier access into and throughout FirstEnergy Stadium.
What if my smartphone battery dies or my screen is cracked?
If your smartphone battery dies before entering FirstEnergy Stadium, you can visit the Customer Service windows at the Box Office to get your tickets reprinted (proof of purchase and/or identity will be required). Depending on the location and severity of the cracked screen you may have to visit the Box Office to get your tickets reprinted.
Can I still print tickets as a PDF file?
The "print-at-home" functionality in Ticketmaster.com and Account Manager will no longer exist for NFL games. The "print-at-home" option will no longer be available as a delivery method for any ticket purchases or ticket transfers.
Why is the "print-at-home" delivery method or "print-at-home" functionality in Account Manager being eliminated?
When digital ticketing is fully adopted, special paper stock is needed to print paper tickets. The paper you have in your home or office printer cannot encode data as RFID. Therefore, PDFs cannot exist in that ticketing environment. PDF tickets are not secure and can be easily duplicated and/or counterfeited. In preparation for digital ticketing, the NFL and the Browns are phasing them out.
By phasing out PDF tickets, do I still have the ability to resell on third party sites of my choice?
Yes, subject to our other terms and conditions on resale. As digital ticketing continues to grow, most platforms have adapted to accommodate digital tickets. However, all third party sites are different, and some still require a PDF or paper ticket and some sites do not provide the buyer's email address for the seller to easily transfer the sold tickets. If paper tickets are needed, you can choose mail delivery during your online purchase. For Season Ticket Members, the commemorative tickets are the only form of paper tickets.
