Best questions, answers from Kevin Stefanski's AMA

Earlier today, new Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski spent 15 minutes answering questions from the Browns' official subreddit.

We encourage you to check out the entirety of the session. Below, you'll find some of the unedited highlights.

But first, the video evidence...

bmcclure937: we have heard a lot about your offensive experience and philosophy (zone run blocking , outside stretch runs, play action pass) but I am curious about your approach on defense. How can we best utilize our young press man CBs and our talent at DE/LB to keep the opposition guessing and generate some turnovers this year?!

Stefanski: Great question. You're very knowledgeable about the defense. Do you want to apply? Our style will suit our players, but we'll be an attacking, aggressive-style defense. I don't think there's another way to play.

Merelyducane: Out of all the coaches that you have had the privilege to work with and learn from, which one would you say had the largest impact on you as a person and your coaching philosophy.

Bonus question: if you could control any of the four elements(water, fire, earth, air) which one would you choose and why?

Stefanski: Even though I just met Gary Kubiak last season, he and I hit it off immediately. We see the game very similarly. He's a great family man. I respect him so much. He's someone I talk to a lot, even today. I've been fortunate enough to work with a ton of good coaches.

Bonus: I like the Atlantic ocean a lot, so I choose water. I love to go to the shore in Jersey. I would eliminate the seaweed with my power.

ArtistInSpace: Hi, Coach,

First of all, congratulations on the position! I'm excited to see where the organization goes from here.

I've heard some chatter about the possible usage of Fullbacks in our offensive scheme going forward. Is the plan to bring in a free agent to try and fill this need, or do you plan on just using current personnel to fill out more 2 back sets?

Stefanski: I have a healthy respect for the full back position. I think it gives you some versatility - because the defense has a hard time knowing whether we'll be in a one-back, two-back or empty set. In addition, and maybe most importantly, the full back brings a physical aspect to our football team, which is very important to me.

Allstar9_: Being in Minnesota for such a long time, what are you most looking forward to when it comes to moving to a new city?

Stefanski: I'm a pizza aficionado. I'm looking forward to what Cleveland has to offer me in the pizza world. I'm looking for a lot of places to eat when I leave the building. Pizza is quick and easy and I get to see all the new neighborhoods.

cleveland_14: Congrats on the new gig coach and welcome to Cleveland! Growing up who was your favorite football player?

Stefanski: I loved Reggie White and the Philadelphia Eagles. I can remember having a blank white t-shirt and my mom writing 92 on the back of it in green. I loved him.

linwoodlane: If you had the chance to coach any former Cleveland Browns player, who would it be?

Stefanski: I'm looking forward to talking to Jim Brown soon. He's a legend of the game, it's going to be a great thrill to talk to him - I can't imagine even coaching him. If I did coach him - I'd hand him the ball on every play. And if I get a second - Joe Thomas to block for him.
