Good attendance builds a strong foundation for in-school success. GOJO®, the makers of PURELL® Hand Sanitizer, support the "Get 2 School" attendance campaign by donating PURELL® hand sanitizer to Cleveland students in an effort to promote good hand-hygiene and reduce illness-related absences. Students also received a lesson on the importance of fighting germs, especially during the flu season.

Larry Ogunjobi supported students as they head back to school by donating backpacks to Cleveland Metropolitan School District students in need. He visited Franklin D. Roosevelt School to distribute backpacks, Browns goodies and a hold a Q and A. Also, the Get 2 School, Stay in the Game! Network visited Barack Obama Elementary School. While at the school, David Njoku and Demetrius Harris recognized select students to congratulate them for showing exemplary or significantly improved attendance, as well as met with a group of students who could benefit from better attendance to help motivate them to get to school.

The Cleveland Browns hosted the inaugural 11-On powered by NIKE in late June at the Pro Football Hall of Fame National Youth Football and Sports Complex in Canton, Ohio. The new 11-On event featured 16 Northeast Ohio high school football teams competing in a 7-on-7 competition as well as a Lineman Challenge.
