Holiday cheer was all throughout Huntington Bank Field as the Jr. Browns Backers, the official kids club of the Cleveland Browns, hosted its third and final event of the season with Chomps' Chill Zone on Dec. 13.
Members enjoyed iceless ice skating, karaoke and had the opportunity to make friendship bracelets. Browns Give Back provided the chance to give thanks and write a holiday letter to a military member or a veteran. Cardinal Credit Union had a face painting station where members could have winter designs painted. The Browns Stay in the Game! Attendance Network held an activity that allowed the members to share their favorite parts of school. Kids could also showcase their creative side with a bookmark making station presented by Stay in the Game! and were encouraged to finish the year with strong school attendance.
The creativity opportunities for kids didn't stop at making bookmarks. They decorated cookies and ate their colorful creations. Snacks and a hot chocolate bar were also available.
Members could also play games for prizes. CollegeAdvantage set up a snowball toss activity where if the snowball made it into the bin, participants could either spin the wheel for CollegeAdvantage merch or be entered to win a signed item. Kids could also take part in a football toss or shoot on a basketball inflatable and display their athleticism.
There were plenty of chances for members and their families to have their picture taken. University Hospitals had a backdrop set up that families could pose in front of while Stay in the Game! also had a photo opportunity where families could take a photo inside a snow globe.
Families could also get their photo taken on a polaroid camera in front of a Jr. Browns Backers-branded backdrop by a Browns staff member. As families exited the event, they received a custom snow globe gift that had the polaroid picture inside so they could remember the event.
To give back during the holiday season, members could donate new winter gear benefitting Stay in the Game! Attendance Network Care Closets and were entered to win a Myles Garrett jersey. Care Closets provide students access to items such as clothes, food, hygiene products and school supplies, all within a safe environment such as schools, ensuring that students have what they need to attend school regularly.
Chomps' Chill Zone was a free event open to premium members of Jr. Browns Backers who registered to attend. Don't miss out on any Jr. Browns Backers events next year and sign up to be a member today!
