Browns Bracket Challenge: 3 of 5 still alive heading into Final Four

Maybe we should get the Browns' opinions on college basketball more often.

Four of the five Browns we tasked with filling out a bracket nailed three of four teams in this weekend's Final Four. Considering that three correctly tabbed No. 7 Michigan State to make yet another trip to college basketball's showcase event, this was more than just good luck.

The only players who are mathematically eliminated from winning this year's challenge is punter Spencer Lanning, who picked two of the Final Four correctly, and Joel Bitonio, who picked Arizona to win it all. Even though Lanning's championship game is alive (Kentucky-Duke with Kentucky winning), he'd still be behind Phil Taylor if that scenario unfolded.

Here's a look at the standings and possible scenarios for how each player could come away with the pool victory.

1. Andrew Hawkins (97 points)

How Hawkins wins: Michigan State beats Duke, Kentucky beats Wisconsin and Kentucky beats Michigan State

2. Joel Bitonio (90 points)

How Bitonio wins: He can't. His championship pick, Arizona, was eliminated in the Elite Eight.

3. Gary Barnidge (85 points)

How Barnidge wins: Wisconsin simply has to beat Kentucky on Saturday.

4. Phil Taylor (84 points)

How Taylor wins: Kentucky and Duke advance to the national title game.

5. Spencer Lanning (71 points)

How Lanning wins: He can't
