Browns interview New England defensive coordinator Matt Patricia

The Cleveland Browns on Saturday interviewed New England defensive coordinator Matt Patricia for the team's head coach opening.

Patricia is the fifth candidate to be interviewed. Dallas secondary coach Jerome Henderson, Jacksonville assistant head coach/offensive line coach Doug Marrone, Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase are the others.

Patricia met with the Browns' five-person search committee, which includes owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam, executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown, chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta and Korn/Ferry International consultant Jed Hughes.
