Browns place WR Corey Coleman on injured reserve, add 2 to practice squad

The Cleveland Browns have placed WR Corey Coleman on injured reserve (hand).*

In addition, the team signed DL Tyrone Holmes and WR Jordan Leslie to the practice squad and released DB Najee Murray and DB Channing Stribling from the practice squad.

Coleman started both games this season and recorded six receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. He sustained a fracture in his hand during the fourth quarter at Baltimore.

Holmes appeared in the team's season opener as a reserve and saw action in 11 games with the Browns in 2016. Leslie led the club this preseason with two receiving touchdowns and added nine receptions for 93 yards. He spent time on the Browns' practice squad last season. Both players' full bios can be found in the 2017 Cleveland Browns media guide.

*Each team can designate two players to return from injured reserve. Designation does not need to be made until that player is able to return to practice. A player placed on injured reserve is eligible to return to practice in six weeks and must miss a minimum of eight weeks. [
