At 2-2-1, the Browns are off to their best start to a season since 2014 (3-2).

The Browns have won consecutive home games for the first time since 2014. The team's 2-0-1 record at home is their best start at home since 2004 (3-0).  

The Browns won their first AFC North division game since a 33-30 overtime win in Baltimore on Oct. 11, 2015.

The Browns have played three overtime games this year, their most in a season since 1989 when the team played in four. The Browns have also played overtime games in consecutive contests for the first time since 2015 (Weeks 5-6). The Browns are 1-1-1 in overtime games this season.

The Browns had two takeaways (one interception and one fumble recovery) to increase their total to 15 on the season. The 15 takeaways are their most through five weeks since 1989 (17). The Browns have eight interceptions this season after recording seven in all of 2017. After five games this year, the Browns have a turnover ratio of +8 after finishing 2017 at -28.

Rookie QB Baker Mayfield completed 25 of 43 passes for 342 yards and one touchdown. His 342 passing yards are the second-most by a Browns rookie.

Rookie DB Denzel Ward recorded one interception, three passes defensed, five tackles and blocked a field goal. He has a team-leading three interceptions this season. His three interceptions are the most by a Brown through the first five weeks since Anthony Henry in 2001. Ward's blocked field goal was the first by a Brown since Joe Haden at Buffalo on Nov. 30, 2014. 

DL Myles Garrett recorded two tackles and half of a sack. He is leading the team lead with 5.0 sacks this season. Garrett's 5.0 sacks are tied for the most by a Brown through the first five weeks of a season. With 12.0 sacks in 16 career games, Garrett has the fifth-most sacks by a Brown in their first two seasons.

WR Rashard Higgins recorded three receptions for 66 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown. He has three career touchdowns.

WR Jarvis Landry recorded five receptions for 69 yards. Landry has recorded at least two receptions in each of his past 68 games, the second-longest active streak in the NFL. His 429 receptions are the most all-time by an NFL player through their first five seasons. Landry is leading the team in receptions (29) and receiving yards (381) this season. His 29 receptions are tied for the third-most by a Brown through the first five weeks and his 381 receiving yards are the seventh-most.

With Landry (69), TE David Njoku (69), Higgins (66) and WR Derrick Willies (61), the Browns had four players record 60-plus receiving yards in a game for the first time since Nov. 15, 2015.

LB Joe Schobert recorded nine tackles and a forced fumble. The 2017 Pro Bowler is leading the team this season with 46 tackles, while adding one sack, one interception, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.

TE David Njoku set a career high with six receptions for 69 yards.  

DL Trevon Coley recorded four tackles, half a sack and a fumble recovery. He has 2.5 career sacks and two fumble recoveries.

LB Jamie Collins Sr. recorded 12 tackles and his second sack of the season. He has 15.5 in his career.

Rookie K Greg Joseph connected on field goals of 35 and 37 yards. The 37 yarder was the game-winner in overtime. He is 6 for 7 on field goals on the season.
