The Browns improved to 2-0 in primetime games this season. The club is 24-32 all-time in primetime games, including a 2-0 mark on Saturday nights.

The Browns secured their first win against the Broncos since a 30-29 victory in Denver on Oct. 8, 1990.

Rookie QB Baker Mayfield threw for two touchdown passes. He has thrown at least one touchdown pass in each of his 11 starts, trailing only St. Louis' Kurt Warner (23 from 1999-00) and Minnesota's Brad Johnson (15 from 1996-97) for the most consecutive starts with a touchdown pass to begin an NFL career. Mayfield is also the first Browns QB since Bernie Kosar (12 in 1987) to throw for at least one touchdown in 11 consecutive starts.

DB Jabrill Peppers recorded his first interception of the season and first sack of his career. The sack came on a fourth-and-10 with 43 seconds remaining to seal the victory. He has two interceptions in his career.

Rookie WR Antonio Callaway tied a career high with five receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. He is leading the team this season with four receiving scores.

Rookie RB Nick Chubb hit the 100-yard rushing mark (100 yards on 20 carries) for the third time this season. His 860 rushing yards on the year ranks fourth among Browns rookies.
