The Cleveland Browns trail the St. Louis Rams, 20-7, at halftime of preseason game number three.

Quarterback Brian Hoyer jumped out of the gates with three quick first-downs. Right before the half, Hoyer was able to find wide receiver Andrew Hawkins in traffic for a five-yard touchdown pass. The quarterback's halftime statistics: 10-for-16, 84 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The Browns' defense held the Rams to two field goals early on, but St. Louis would find their groove offensively. Quarterback Austin Davis tossed two touchdown passes; a six-yarder to Brian Quick and a 75-yarder to Chris Givens.

Defensively, Karlos Dansby added a sack and lineman Armonty Bryant has been a force in the backfield on both passing and rushing plays. Rookie Chris Kirksey leads the defense with four tackles.

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford injured his left knee in the first quarter and will not return. We'll have much more after the game.

Here are a few photos from the first half.
