Joe Haden's annual celebrity softball game a star-studded event

It's going to essentially feel like the ESPY Awards at Joe Haden's second annual celebrity softball game Saturday at Classic Park in Eastlake.

NFL stars scheduled to play include Colin Kaepernick, Patrick Peterson, A.J. Green, LeSean McCoy, Dez Bryant, Kam Chancellor, Randall Cobb, Richard Sherman, T.J. Ward, Mike and Maurkice Pouncey, Larry Fitzgerald, Odell Beckham, Jr., Torrey Smith and a special appearance from Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders are all on tap for the game. Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones will also be playing.

Plus, Browns players Travis Benjamin, Jordan Poyer, Donte Whitner, Johnny Manziel, Phil Taylor, Billy Winn, Justin Gilbert and Chris Kirksey have committed to the event.

"I heard I'm playing third base," Kirksey said. "And I'll be ready to go."

Haden is close friends with the many of the stars who are flying into town, but he had to put on his salesman cap to logistically get so many together in one place at the same time.

"I was able to reach out to my dudes and they want to come out and have a good time," Haden said.

Remember, you can meet Browns players earlier in the day at Fan Fest from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  downtown at the Cleveland Convention center.

So why not make it an entirely Cleveland Browns themed day and buy tickets for a night cap with Haden and his friends? We'll see you there.
