Madison Hosts Lakeside in the Game of the Week

Madison Hosts Lakeside in the Game of the Week
Madison hosts Lakeside Friday in the Cleveland Browns High School Game of the Week, Presented by PNC Bank.

Lakeside at Madison
Records:Madison 7-1; Lakeside 0-8
What: Premier Athletic Conference Division game
Date of Game:Friday, October 24
Kickoff: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Madison High School, 3100 Burns Rd, Madison, OH 44057

Pregame Notes:

Madison (7-1) is led by head coach Tim Willis. Last season, the fifteenth year head coach led the Blue Streaks to the third round of the Division II State Playoffs.

Lakeside (0-8) is led by second year head coach Frank Hall. Prior to returning to Lakeside, Hall spent several years as an assistant at Chardon.

Madison continues to fire on all cylinders. The running back by committee backfield not only keeps a fresh rotation, it also allows the Blue Streak to control the clock and wear down defenses.

Lakeside travels to Madison looking for their first win of the season. The Dragons will need to slow Madison's rushing attack and strike early if they want to upset the playoff bound Blue Streaks.

Good luck to both teams and stay tuned for a post-game report.
