Forty-four puppies from Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups were adopted this year through the Browns training camp Puppy Pound, presented by Sugardale. Since the program's launch in 2015, a total of 814 Browns fans in attendance at training camps have adopted dogs.

To spark excitement around Puppy Pound, the Browns introduced eight puppies on their social media platforms. One puppy was featured each day training camp was open to the public, each given a Browns-themed name. The spotlighted puppies were named Mason Grrr-aham, Jerome Barker, Ruff Sunahara, Luke Wag-ler, Dillon Growl-riel, Pawson Schwesinger, Howl-rold Fannin Jr. and Joe Fluff-o.

To support the cause, Sugardale provided custom Browns x Sugardale hotdog themed squeaker toys, leash poop bag dispensers and Browns branded leashes to those that adopted. Sugardale also made a donation of $5,000 to Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups.

As the official pet insurer of the Cleveland Browns and associate partner of the Barking Backers, Embrace Pet Insurance covered all adoption fees, furthering their commitment to helping local dogs find loving homes.

Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups focuses on pregnant dogs, mother dogs with litters and puppies under six months old. The organization is solely volunteer run, with no paid staff or physical shelter. All dogs were residing in residential foster homes before their adoption.

As a nonprofit, Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups relies on donations from supporters. To contribute, visit the organization's website.

The Browns Puppy Pound, presented by Sugardale has returned for another year of Browns Open Training Camp Days, with a total of 44 puppies adopted through Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups. Since the program's launch in 2015, 814 puppies from Northeast Ohio have been adopted by Browns fans at training camp practices.
