Quotes to Know: The most important soundbites after Browns loss to Eagles

PHILADELPHIA -- Many words were said at the podium and inside the Browns locker room after Sunday's 29-10 loss to the Eagles.

Here were the ones that stood out the most.

"I thought we had our chances. In the scoring zone, we can't just kick field goals. We have to score. We have to score the ball. We had some opportunities there and we didn't make them. You can make it a little harder on the quarterback if you can score touchdowns and get ahead by a little bit, but we weren't able unfortunately to do that today." Browns coach Hue Jackson

"We had opportunities to win, and we were on the wrong side of the momentum. We didn't do a good enough job; I didn't do a good enough job of helping us secure that momentum back. But it's a funny game when you get out there, and it's all about managing the situation, and I have to go a better job of that." -- Browns QB Robert Griffin III

"It's a good football team over there and those guys are professionals and they are going to make [plays] and RG3 is a great quarterback and he's going to make you pay from time to time. I just thought our defense played aggressive. Second half, came out and really got after them from a defensive standpoint and gave our offense some short fields in that second half." -- Eagles coach Doug Pederson

"He's a tough guy, he's our leader, our captain, that's why we picked him as our captain because he's a tough guy and we respect him with the utmost respect. It's awesome for him to come out there and finish with us, no matter what he had going on. But it's just awesome to see." -- WR Terrelle Pryor on Griffin finishing the game

"They drafted me here for a reason and I have to make plays. Every ball isn't going to be perfect you have to find a way to adjust to it." -- WR Corey Coleman on his first NFL catch, a 58-yarder

"I'm one of those guys where I'm very tough on myself because, I want my teammates to be able to depend on me. I definitely take responsibility for it but, I can't think about that next week. I can't think about that practicing this next game against Baltimore, we have a good team rolling in and we have to go out there and be focused." -- C Cameron Erving, on his errant snap that went out of the end zone for a safety

"We felt really good coming out of the locker room in the second half. We felt like we had some good momentum. We started making some plays and we got over those jitters that we had early on. Then the momentum swung and we were not able to get it back in the second half to make a run and try to get the lead." -- OL Joe Thomas

"With us, we have to get off the field on third down. Not making stupid penalties when it is third-and-short, getting offsides, holding calls, stuff that can make a drive longer. We have to lock in, start winning the battle on first down and second down. Then making sure when it is third-and-short or third-and-long, making sure we get off the field." -- Browns DB Joe Haden
