After being promoted from the practice squad earlier this week, TE Connor Hamlett hauled in a 17-yard touchdown grab for his first NFL reception. He is the first Browns player to register a receiving touchdown on his first NFL catch since WR Andre Davis on Sept. 8, 2002.
WR Andrew Hawkins recorded four receptions for 56 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown. He has seven career receiving scores and this was his first since Nov. 16, 2014.
DL Jamie Meder recorded his second career sack. He dropped Tom Brady for a 3-yard loss.
LB Christian Kirksey registered a career-high 16 tackles.
WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. recorded five receptions for 48 yards, while adding three rushing yards and completed one pass for five yards. He leads the team this season in receptions (24) and receiving yards (338).
Rookie QB Cody Kessler completed 5 of 8 passes for 62 yards with a touchdown. He left the game with an injury to his chest/ribs and did not return.
QB Charlie Whitehurst made his Browns debut and completed 14 of 24 passes for 182 yards with one interception.
LT Joe Thomas extended his consecutive-snaps streak to 9,262, the longest active stretch in the league. Thomas has started all 149 career games and hasn't missed an offensive play since being selected by the Browns with the third overall pick in the 2007 draft.
DL Xavier Cooper (shoulder) and QB Charlie Whitehurst (knee) left the game with injuries but were able to return.
