The Cleveland Browns hosted an official groundbreaking for a field at Ellet High School. The team will install high-quality synthetic turf at the school, which becomes the ninth multi-sport playing field to be funded since summer 2016 through the Browns’ and Dee and Jimmy Haslams’ commitment to youth football as part of Browns Give Back.

The Cleveland Browns Foundation hosted their 20th annual golf outing, presented by Key Private Bank in association with University Hospitals and Professional Travel, at the Westwood Country Club on a partly cloudy Monday. A host of important Browns figures attended: Dee and Jimmy Haslam, executive vice president JW Johnson, general manager John Dorsey, head coach Freddie Kitchens, and a selection of players, coaches and alumni.

Berea Midpark High School was surprised with $25,000 worth of new helmets from Xenith through the Browns HELMETS program in collaboration with Xenith, University Hospitals and Ohio Lottery. The event also was a pay it forward with the announcement of Barberton High School as the next school to receive $25K worth of new helmets.

The Cleveland Browns hosted an official groundbreaking for a 70-yard field at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio. The team will install high-quality synthetic turf at the center, which becomes the eighth of nine multi-sport playing fields to be funded since summer 2016 through the Browns’ and Dee and Jimmy Haslams’ commitment to youth football as part of Browns Give Back. The Browns will announce the ninth site selected later this month.

The Cleveland Browns hosted the 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Youth Football Summit at FirstEnergy Stadium. The summit featured approximately 200 youth football coaches throughout Northeast Ohio. During the summit, each coach learned proper tackling techniques, concussion recognition and response, heat preparedness and hydration, sudden cardiac arrest, and proper equipment fitting through USA Football's Heads Up Tackling Certification program.
Browns celebrate youth football on Draft Day 3
On the third day of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Browns hosted members of the Jr. Browns NFL Flag Football team from the City of Cleveland Fairfax Community Center at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to help announce the Browns' draft picks.

Browns players Joel Bitonio, Chris Hubbard and Daniel Ekuale joined Browns staff to host the 2019 Play 60 Football Festival, in association with University Hospitals. The Browns invited local students to have a day full of activities at the team facility, including football drills, alumni appearances and much more.

GOJO®, the makers of PURELL® Hand Sanitizer, support the "Get 2 School" attendance campaign by donating PURELL® hand sanitizer to Cleveland students in an effort to promote good hand-hygiene and reduce illness-related absences. Students also received a lesson on the importance of fighting germs, especially during the flu season.
